IPSAMOOCs GO LIVE:
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR WEBINAR SERIES
 
IPSAMOOCs, a joint project from Federica Web Learning and IPSA, launched a new webinar series called Meet the Instructor Webinar to be held on Wednesday, 20 January at 3 pm (UTC Time). The Webinar allows participants to gain fresh insights, receive updates on MOOCs, and speak directly with instructors during the question-and-answer session. Please note that the Webinar is reserved for IPSAMOOCs enrolled learners and is free of charge.
 
The Meet the Instructor Webinar is a unique opportunity for a live meeting with two eminent scholars Prof. Mauro Calise and Prof. Werner Patzelt.
 
By participating in the Webinar, you shall be entitled to:
 
  • a Certificate of Attendance issued by Federica Web Learning, University of Naples Federico II and IPSA;
  • a discount of 15% to upgrade to the verified track on the edX platform.

IPSA SECRETARIAT WELCOMES TWO NEW EMPLOYEES
 
We are pleased to announce that two new employees have joined our team. Yee Fun Wong has been appointed to the position of World Congress and Events Director. Yee Fun will lead the Organizing Committee for future World Congresses and coordinate the bidding processes.
 
Yee Fun is coming back to IPSA after 6 years having honed her skills with event planning agencies. She has extensive experience as an organizer in various areas, from extreme sports to event planning. As an events manager, she has travelled the world, staging events for small groups of fewer than 100 participants as well as international conferences for over 3,000 participants.
 
Thomas Chapdelaine has also been appointed to the position of World Congress Assistant. In charge of communications with the participants, he will manage registrations, update the Congress program and support the Secretariat staff to realize their projects.
 
IPSA-CONCORDIA SUMMER SCHOOL IN APPLIED DIPLOMACY GOES ONLINE
7-18 June 2021
 
The IPSA-Concordia Summer School in Applied Diplomacy, the first IPSA Summer School in Canada, will be hosted virtually at Concordia University.
 
Policy-oriented seminars will be complemented with a practical hands-on Diplomacy Lab, allowing the participants to work on case studies in teams. Through virtual field trips, participants will also explore practitioners’ points of view and have the opportunity to network with Montreal’s vibrant international community. The best Diplomacy Lab team will be invited to the next IPSA World Congress of Political Science to organize a panel and present their research.
 
Please note that registration will be open on 1 February! Applications sent in by 15 March will be considered for the fellowship. Financial assistance will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
